March 13, 2014
Last month, ETC was proud to participate in the 2014 Gas Well Deliquification Workshop in Denver, CO. Our booth was visited by representatives of almost every major producer in the United States and Canada, and we were flattered by the high praise we received for eliminating one of plunger lift’s biggest frustrations – faulty sensors. We were thrilled to hear that our CyclopsTM sensor is well-known within the United States as the most reliable sensor on the market. 8 of our resellers also exhibited at the show, and we enjoyed the opportunity to spend a few days getting to know their staff better and supporting them by co-sponsoring successful customer events.
Our President and CEO Mark Scantlebury gave presentations on two topics at this year’s workshop. Mark shared some of our knowledge of certification standards in a presentation titled Understanding Hazardous Locations Concepts on the first day of the workshop. On the second day of the workshop, Mark gave a presentation on Plunger Velocity Detection, Tracking, and Optimization. This presentation was very well attended, and brought a lot of traffic back to our booth for information on our cutting edge SasquatchTM Plunger Velocity Sensor which is set for field trial by several major producers in the coming weeks.
Dave McCarty, Senior VP of Sales at Fielding Systems joined us in our booth this year to demonstrate SCADAVisorTM, a cloud-based SCADA monitoring and control platform offering access to ETC plunger lift controllers from any internet-connected computer or tablet web browser.
Our Channel Sales Manager Shane Soum and Marketing Manager Jehn Ferec were present in the booth throughout the workshop, and ETC would like to extend a special thank you to them for their enthusiasm and hard work. Long days, late nights, and early mornings are common at these workshops, and Shane and Jehn both showed their dedication the company and to our customers by making themselves available 24/7 to support, entertain, and educate.
Thanks again to all those who visited our booth and attended our presentations. We hope to see you next year in Denver for the 2015 Gas Well Deliquification Workshop! Check out our Events page to find out where we’re exhibiting next.
