The 8th Annual European Gas Well Deliquification Conference will be held October 14-16, 2013 at the Hampshire Hotel – Plaza Groningen in Groningen, The Netherlands.

Reminder
We would like to remind you of the 8th European Gas Well Deliquification Conference to be held 14-16 October in Groningen, The Netherlands, in the Hampshire Hotel – Plaza Groningen (some of you may not have received the original invitation send on 11th April). Your registration to participate, present and/or exhibit is very much appreciated. Details are presented below. We are very grateful for the registrations received to date. Your abstracts are still very welcome.
Objectives
Successful deliquification of gas wells is a primary means of prolonging economic field life and of increasing remaining reserves of depleted gas reservoirs. During the last decade, significant progress has been made implementing gas well deliquification in US, Canada and, more recently, Europe. Over the last 7 years the European Conference on Gas Well Deliquification (GWD) has been instrumental to promoting the awareness and implementation of gas well deliquification techniques in Europe. This conference provides an excellent platform to gas well operators and stakeholders, as well as for service and technology providers, to exchange information related to the deliquification of liquid loaded gas wells.

The ultimate goal of the conference is to accelerate the implementation of gas well deliquification in Europe. Adaptations are required to meet European regulations and operating conditions. Suppliers of products and equipment play a key role. Closer alignment will lead to increased success for both operators and service industry.
Program and Call for Presentations & Exhibitors
On Monday 14th October we will run 3 short, educational courses. These courses will be run sequentially, will last about 2 hours each and will be delivered by industry experts. The course topics are as following:

On Tuesday 15th October and Wednesday 16th October there will be technical presentations and breakout discussions. The success of the conference depends on your willingness to share and present relevant information. Please indicate your interest to present in your registration; in that case also send a short abstract of your presentation to Janny Benschop-Jeuring j.benschop-jeuring@shell.com no later than 1 June 2013. The presentations will be organized in several sessions covering the following topics:
Tuesday afternoon there will be breakout discussions in which we will explore existing and new ways of collaborating in key technology areas. Tuesday evening there will be a social event including dinner to relax and network. The final conference agenda will be finalized and communicated by 1 August 2013.
During the entire conference there will be an exhibition as well. If your company would like to make use of exhibition booth space, please indicate this in your registration. Booth space comes at a sponsorship charge i.e. € 500 for a single booth (3mx3m) and € 1000 for a double booth (3mx6m). Note that the number of booths is limited. You can request more information on the exhibition of the steering team members.
Registration
Participation will be free of charge; this includes lunch during the 3 conference days and dinner on Tuesday evening. Participants will need to book hotel accommodation themselves and will have to settle their own travel & accommodation expenses. We have made a block booking in the Hampshire Hotel – Plaza Groningen so please refer to the Conference when making your booking. If you need assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
The registration deadline is 31 July 2013. We encourage you to submit your application early, as participation will be limited by the conference facilities to +/- 200 people. You should register on-line via Registration G2G. Please indicate whether your company requires exhibition booth space, whether/which short course you like to attend, whether you plan to submit an abstract for a presentation, whether you have dietary requirements and whether you plan to join the social evening event. Note that the social event will be limited to +/- 100 people on first come – first serve basis.
